  • My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, which emphasizes presence, authenticity, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. As Carl Rogers described, these are the “necessary and sufficient conditions for therapeutic change.” This foundation allows me to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen and supported.

Beyond this foundation, I am drawn to experiential therapy, which focuses on the immediate, present-moment experience occurring within the therapy session. Our emotions arise automatically, yet we often disconnect from them—living in our thoughts rather than in the full-bodied experience of feeling. By slowing down, tracking, and allowing ourselves to fully experience emotion in a safe, nonjudgmental space, we gain insight into our internal world and the wisdom our emotions seek to communicate. This process fosters deeper self-awareness, emotional integration, and alignment with one’s values.

I also incorporate interpersonal process therapy (IPP), which explores the dynamic between therapist and client as a mirror for relational patterns. What unfolds between us in therapy often reflects broader patterns in your relationships. By bringing curiosity to these patterns—whether they are adaptive, maladaptive, or in need of change—we create an opportunity for insight and transformation. Unlike traditional talk therapy, this approach offers real-time feedback and the possibility of a corrective emotional experience, helping you break free from default relational cycles and cultivate healthier ways of connecting.
